The Gosh Darn Podcast (GDP)

The Gosh Darn Podcast (GDP) is hosted by two high school students—Rose Long and Grace Proebsting.  After taking an economics class at University High School in Tucson, they wanted to explore economic issues in Arizona. Inspired by the recent Red for Ed movement, they contacted candidates running in the General Election, hoping to hear their thoughts on public education in Arizona.

The podcast is supported by Varsity Economics, a club at University High School.  The club’s goal is to “help students develop the economic way of thinking” by supporting student-led projects and community involvement.  It is sponsored by James Lerch, who teaches economics at UHS.
